EDUC 560

EDUC 560 is a course in LIU. This page tells what I've learned in it.

In this course, I learned how to make this blog that I will use for lots of things in my life.
I also learned how to use different applications on Google. This will help me through out my career and my personal life. This course prepares teachers when they first step into the world of teaching.
One of the good parts of this course is that there is always an immediate application of all the steps done in class.

A great thing we need to do in this course is the Web Quest; teachers can use it to guide students' search and use of internet and information. It's helpful to keep teachers and students in contact where students can refer to the quest to check the steps they need to follow. Also they can have specific and credible resources that they can use while working. What is also important about it is that others around the world, can see it and use it in their learning process.

A great way for eliciting answers, questions, and ideas and communicating is the padlet. It can be used with family, friends, and in business. I also learned about PolEv that makes it easier to get results about any topic weather for professional research or a small questionnaire.

Designing posters can be very easy..but it needs some time and skill to make a scientific poster that reflects your hard work like a research. Working on the poster lets you know the proper sizes, fonts, and necessary steps to follow in writing your findings that are appropriate to convey meaning and clearness to the audience.

Im really enjoying this course too, especially the blog part! It really shows how important technology is not just in our daily lives but also in education. So many schools are intergrating technology into their curriculums and are satisfied with the results; the point is, we just have to use it right!
