One of our big accomplishments in the School of Education at LIU is our TEFL Brunch that is a fund raising activity for Dar Al-Hanan Orphanage in west Bekaa. After being involved in this extraordinary fund raising activity for two times, I felt that with cooperation and teamwork spirit everything can be fun and worth it. This year, being a bit busy, I couldn't join my friends and instructors in their appreciated hard work. I wish I were there to witness an awesome event once more, but I felt happy enough for the great results. When we started this fund raising activity, honestly, the School of Education with the TEFL students have planted a new era and a new generation that loves giving, working, and spreading good and love anywhere they go. A worth mentioning impact we had upon everyone else after the TEFL Brunch is that different people from different majors were excited to help and to be part of a big team that keeps growing each year. This itself should make us proud and happy that we can have an impact, we can spread love and care, and we can make a change. Congratulations for everyone, from the first year and until now, who have participated in this event to add more success to it. And hopefully it even develops to a huge event with other extraordinary ideas!

Very true, the TEFL Brunch was absolutely an event to remember. The best part about it was that it made the education department popular. It also makes me sad that I wasn't able to participate this year, but I'm happy to see something we started still growing in university. Thanks for sharing and reminding us of such an amazing accomplishment.
for sure I agree with you that this event is one of the most important accomplishments in our education department and we are so proud of being members of this humanistic and beneficial event, especially that we're indirectly helping orphans and putting smiles on their faces.

It is true that when we share or give to others there is a good feeling fill us with happiness and peace and even security maybe because we have this faith that if we are good people we are going to be have good people around us especially when we are in need.
